February 21, 2024 - Update to my earlier notes…was even better this time around… many of the same observations, but even more subtle/refined….my notes from 2019:
PNP over 2 hours. Very appealing nose of earth and dark fruit, with black cherry, blueberry, and warm spice flavors, and a backbone of acidity that lasts from the front of the palate all the way thru the finish. July 24, 2023 - Stunning. Impeccably well balanced. Probably the best pinot noir I've had this year. It showcases the freshness and bright acidity you would expect from a top site in the Sonoma Coast. While it is unmistakably Californian, it has all the elegance of a Grand Cru Burgundy.

January 19, 2023 - PNP. Drinking well out the gate, but hit another level after a couple of hours. Lovely red fruit, cherry, raspberry and strawberry, slightly candied, with nice hints of rhubarb to add some complexity. Full bodied, but nicely balanced. Long finish. Unabashedly California, undeniably delicious.
