February 11, 2023 - Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry liquor, currant, cocoa powder, forest floor and baking spice. Ripe black fruit, chocolate, forest floor and spice on the palate. Lingering, layered finish. Full bodied. Served with grilled strip steaks with black truffle compound butter.

The best GTS I have had. This thought this was good at release but this gut after a 2 hour decant it drank beautifully. Upping recent scores -

February 16, 2019 - Absolutely fresh crushed berries all over the nose. On the palette there is immediate spice driven mulberry, some eucalyptus, and a heat laden finish. This is clearly young and ageable but oh my god is this tempting right now. Viscous and balanced mouthfeel.

December 6, 2018 - More blueberry fruits tonight and less black fruits. Definitely starts with a spice driven and eucalyptus flavor but quickly morphs at the mid palette with a more viscous and dense mouthfeel delivering cassis, and some tobacco leaf.
