April 17, 2021 - Opened 4 hours before drinking: matured Haut Medoc Cru bourgeois superieur. Dark ruby colour, dark fruits and moist forest floor in the nose. Cassis at the palate. Astonishing long finish with hints of leather and blackcherry. Haut Medoc at its best for 15 €, easy to drink.

April 14, 2018 - 6.5 more years in my cellar since my last bottle improved this wine immensely. After being open at a blind tasting for 30-60 minutes it was perhaps a 91 and was quickly consumed by those in attendance. Very much an old world style now. My last bottle unfortunately.

August 24, 2017 - - Garnet color with medium forming legs. It's balanced and has flavours of black currant and blackberry with a light/medium body. Smooth texture with a short finish - The nose on this wine is wonderful. The color is a deep dark Garnet To brick in color. The tannins are fading very fast and the wine is past it's peak. Drink up. It is somewhat lacking the structure it used to have.

December 27, 2016 - A little dry and peppery. Slight woody taste- may have waited too long to drink.

January 30, 2015 - Very correct wine. Nothing to blow your sox off; however, still drinking well, if in the evening of its prime. This wine represents $15 well spent.
