February 28, 2020 - Distinctive smell of sweet herbs, thyme, bay, chocolate, quite spicy. Broad and sweet in the mouth, ripe black fruit, blackcurrant and cherry. Decent tannic structure and plenty of acid. Long fresh finish. Excellent. Also a bargain.

June 7, 2019 - Rich pungent floral and sweet dark fruit smell. Full bodied and significant tannin and acid. Lovely fresh plum and blackcurrant in the mouth. Quite alcoholic, long and satisfying. Excellent wine. A bargain at €9.

December 20, 2018 - Powerful sweet black fruit nose, with lots of herbal smells, lavender and spice. Very rich and round in the mouth, followed by plenty of acid and enough structure and tannin to last years yet. Very similar to the Les Balmes Cotes-du-Rhone, just a touch richer and longer. Really excellent.

August 4, 2018 - This wine surprised me with its maturity. Depth of aromas that penetrate high into the memory. Savory flavor with backbone of dark fruit. Long lasting (I don't want it to end) finish. Unfortunately I have yet to find it in BC or California. So sad.

Wonderful aroma!......tongue has some upfront tar, earth, cherry,
Leather spice notes with a finish that really lasts.... This drinks waaaay
Above its price point...delicious and a memorable wine....
