December 24, 2022 - Soy sauce, damp forest floor, savory, leather, dried blueberries. Good backbone of acid, savory aspects are consistent with 2013.
Drinking these together, Mills seems to have a distinctive earthy and mineral aspect which is very attractive when balanced with the dark fruit. -

March 6, 2012 - Pours a bright but still dark garnet. Gorgeous nose of black cherry, mushrooms & earth with a sweet oak whiff. On the palate, it's quite rich with a noticeable bitter chocolate note throughout. Amazingly good for a 23+ year old wine. Outstanding.

March 23, 1991 - Tasting of 11 Pinot Noirs, hosted by Joe. Showed nice, jammy, berry fruit on the nose, great balance in the mouth, nice long finish with enough acid to suggest cellaring for 2 years. My #4.
