October 29, 2023 - A marginal improvement on my note of March 2022 (same characteristics, slightly better integrated and marginally less harsh). Matched ok with herby sausages, mustard and lentils.

March 5, 2022 - Nose - Farmyard, very little fruit - some dark dried cherry and prune. Palate - tannic, sour cherry, astringent, chewy, even bitter. Softened a little after several hours of air and the next day. Hard to like, acceptable with food. Not sure that it will improve any further.

October 9, 2018 - Eh. Some fruit, somewhat harsh acids, medium tannins, some lactic elements, and a lingering sweetness. It might be interesting with the more age but I'm not willing to make space for it to find out.
