  March 31, 2024 - This merlot has aged perfectly. Well balanced with smooth and silky tannins. Full body and ideal structure. It's at its best now so open it up and enjoy!

  October 14, 2023 - Oak is now very balanced and the cherry vanilla notes are wonderful. Silly smooth finish on the palate.

  July 12, 2019 - Popped and let breathe in the bottle for 30 minutes before starting consumption. Heavy vanilla (oak) and fruit forward on the nose. Palate is much of the same with some baking spices thrown in.
  
  Oak subsides a little bit with air, but still heavy handed. Good core of fruit behind the oak, mostly ripe cherry with a touch of blueberry, with low tannins. After 3 hours, of air in the bottle and glass, the last half glass was very nice. A few more years would help integrate the oak, but it’s a nice wine now, if you are ok with the oak treatment.

  July 10, 2018 - Top notch Merlot. Tasted much more cab like. Very full body, oak, vanilla and dark chocolate with some cherry. Great wine.
