April 5, 2024 - Notes of cedar and ash, with a dry finish. Lost some of its fruitier notes from the bottle I had last year.

February 10, 2024 - Decanted and let breath for three hours. Stated with a leather and tobacco nose and raspberry and licorice flavors, with earth and eventually becoming earthy dominant. Silky mouthfeel…very elegant wine. It can cellar longer but I believe it’s attained its peak drinking window.

December 13, 2023 - At Del Frisco U2…….
Really bright and smooth lots of red berries and touch of earth. Little bit of Carmel but not sweet. Pauliacesque?

November 26, 2023 - Clear medium ruby; clean medium plus nose of wood, cherry jam, cassis and red currant; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium to medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of cocoa; long finish; a little lacklustre in complexity - best to try it again in a few years
