November 23, 2023 - Thanksgiving wine. Was wonderful with the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. From magnum. Popped and let breathe for 2 hours before dinner. Snuck a snip at opening. Cherry, candy apple and earth tones as well. Tannins well integrated and smooth at this point. Was consistent throughout the evening. This is ready now.

December 25, 2020 - Top 5 bottles I’ve ever had. Incredible and complex. Held onto this after buying in 2017. It’s exceptional and exceeded expectations.

Flavor packed punch with red cherry, light earth, spice...
Great nose..
Bright, uplifting, Great balance with acidity and fruit...
Slight candy note is the only thing that keeps it from a higher score
As always, will never be confused with a Burgundy....
But for USA it’s great... -

May 4, 2020 - 2015 was a excellent vintage here in Oregon and this wine is a lovely example of the warm summer and growing season. This wine is quite bright with red cherry fruit, earth, spice and just a touch of tar. The finish is long and spicy and the fruit takes on a plum layer.
