January 20, 2019 - Sorry everyone, I just didn't like this SB. First tasted at a comparison tasting, alongside a Dry Riesling and a Kiwi Chardonnay. Out of the three I found this to be bitter and somewhat unplesant. Maybe it just isn't to my liking as a style, but follow up tatsing and drinking on its own, still didn't endear me to it. The aroma was in itself off-putting, still trying to put my finger on what it reminded me off, certainly not other SB's I have sniffed & tasted.
I recognised grapefruit and possibly hints of lime behind the acid on my palate, and while I wouldn't throw it away, it did very little for me, and not something I will be seeking out again. Not trying to appear hard, and everyone has their own taste favourites, this one just wasn't mine. -

September 2, 2018 - Nose of lemon/lime, and citrus with a hint of grapefruit and grass, more of the same on the palate, medium body, tasty, fairly mouth filling, showing well today, needs near term ageing to peak drinking in six months or a one hour decant, better at room temperature than fully chilled, and a medium/long finish.
