June 23, 2021 - My last bottle of a case purchased three years ago, and the best. Not mature in any way, just more resonance with every sip than the bottles that came before it. Rose petals, watermelon and honey, yet dry.

December 6, 2020 - My conviction that these needed cellaring has been rewarded: this is the best bottle yet. The screechy early acidity has calmed down and come into balance. Beautiful aromatics, perfect finish.

August 15, 2019 - Here's my Navarro program: buy 1 case of the pinot noir rose, put it away for next summer. Then drink last summer's. It needs a year to settle down and evolve, always worth the wait.
