August 27, 2023 - Creamy nose. Sweet blueberry fruit with hints of an old-school style. Mocha oak notes. Soft and mellow, and likely drinking best now.

July 8, 2022 - PnP, but slow ox in glass for one hour. Slightly sweet mocha aromas with some black cherries and cedar. Round, lush, full-bodied and and clean with red currants and dark cherries on the palate. Some round tannins lead to a surprisingly structured finish. Layered and rich. Several blind tasters thought this a modern styled right bank BDX, a couple others thought it was a Napa Cab. Nearing maturity with 3-5 good years ahead.

October 25, 2021 - More a meritage blend with medium complex flavors (but some borderline high alcohol) than a typical Napa Valley merlot. Still some tannins but the oak is receding nicely. This is a winemaker Ted Edward's gift to the wine drinking public.
