  January 23, 2022 - A really nice wine. So much minerality and crushed wet rocks. The wine itself was quite big and lush, probably a reflection of the vintage. I suspect that 'leaner' years would be an even bigger step up. I didn't notice much flint on the nose, but there it was on the palate after about 30 mins of air. Lovely. This is the type of wine you'd love to have cases of to bust open without a second thought.

  March 5, 2020 - A warm and early maturing vintage but Ramonet has certainly done well in 2015. Delicious to drink now and let tbe more backward vintages wait. The ample fruit of the vintage with apples and flowers balanced with a nice mineral core, albeit not as deep, complex and mineral as the best vintages.

  January 8, 2020 - If you can find or don’t want to spring for the Chassange Montrachet from Ramonet, here is as close as you get...beautiful balance, delicious, unparalleled sexiness. The right mix of softness and intensity makes for an excellent wine. Toasty oak, caraway, grilled pineapple, pear, apple, melon and star fruit. Nice minerality deliver a long and tasty finish.
