November 21, 2018 - Here we go atruffling... (aka Piedmont... and Veneto); 11/16/2018-11/30/2018 (Alba, Guarene, Modena, Barolo, La Morra, Lake Garda .....): This trip is really getting me to come around on Moscato which isn't a wine that I typically drink. Still at the end of a big Piedmontese meal, the idea of something light and bubbly and easy and pleasurable seems just about right and that's exactly what this is. Very fresh. Some white florals. Some fruits. It's low alc (only 5.5%). Very easy. I can appreciate it in the right circumstances and there's lots of them on this trip.

October 27, 2017 - Italy vacation Part 1; 10/22/2017-11/5/2017 (Florence and the Tuscan countryside): Aromatic, pear, white flower; palate is light bodied, excellent frizzante, lightly sweet, medium-plus acidity; short finish. Lovely pair with dessert. 86

June 1, 2017 - had a few pours at the ceretto wine dinner hosted by undici restaurant. andrea pace, winery representative states that this wine is intended to be enjoyed when it is young and fresh. i agree. pale yellow color. pinpoint frizzante. lots of tropical fruit. ample acidity. delicious on its own. also paired well with chocolate polenta pie. will enjoy purchased bottles this summer and next.

May 9, 2017 - Italian Wine Scholar at the Texas Wine School. Pale yellow with golden hues. Nice frizzante. The nose is clean, fresh, with fuji apple, peach, ripe lemon, white flowers and ripe lychee fruit. The palate is medium sweet, consistent with the nose, and balanced by crisp, medium (+) acidity. The alcohol is low at 5.5%. This sees no oak. It would pair very nicely with tart and not overly sweet desserts such as a fresh fruit tart, lemon cake. Really delicious, sunshine in a glass.
