July 27, 2018 - Drunk from magnum. No bricking, tons of ripe fruit. Held up over 6 hours of consumption

November 7, 2015 - No issues with the cork on this one. Color was a brownish purple with clear signs that this has some age on it. First whiff was earth, barnyard which blew off after about 5 minutes. A little harsh on the first taste but again after 5 minutes it blew off to show one of the best Pinot experiences I've had. Much better than the last one. Wish I had a few more of these

September 27, 2013 - Time has been kind to this bottle. No discernible tannins, just pure silky fruit, subtle minerality, and persistent spice and floral aromatics. If you have any, I'd guess this is now at or near its peak.

July 4, 2013 - The cork crumbled on opening, so not a good start at all. I was expecting this to be horrible, but was pleasantly surprised given the start. Nose is classic russian river; cola, cherries, floral. Taste was equally nice, with strawberry, cranberry, cola. Finish was a bit short, but somewhat expected given the age. I was hoping for much better, but still a very good to great wine..

December 21, 2012 - Would never have guessed it was a 10+ year old cali pinot. It has held up excellent - what a great bottle. I have no idea what the tasting note was below mine... but it can be ignored. This was a great cali pinot.
