February 8, 2024 - Lots of fine pepper and smoky red fruit. Palate is so elegant and ethereal. Tons of earth, crushed rock, white pepper. Finish is long and all structure. This will go 20 years without issue. 93

March 19, 2023 - Tasting Ground official tasting, Rhone wine pairing (Jerar restaurant): Cote Blonde, Cote Brune + Lieux dits Baleyat, Chavaroche, Mollart Lieux , portion destemmed, 600lt oak 30% new + oak foudres
The wine is big and dense in the nose, massive profile, dark fruit, iron-y, huge density, depth and blood-y
Palate big and powerful, blockbuster, black fruit, very tight tannins, almost bitter from tannins, youthful, a bit spicier too than Maestria, no oak feeling whatsoever
    Gets even darker with time

February 8, 2022 - Deep dark rich wine . Still tasting very young .

October 10, 2021 - 1st of 12 so although aware that this may be a bit early I thought I'd take a look. On opening lots of substance, all pretty tightly coiled, and not much fun over the couple of hours I followed a glass. Double decanted. 24 hours later & while still obviously young & from a warm vintage I thought this opened up really well. No obvious oaky notes (as mentioned bellow), masses of dark fruit & earth, tannins & acidity both present but in harmony, powerful rather than heavy. A masculine cote-rotie - at this stage at least, very satisfying, very, very good value and can only get better 92 +++

September 19, 2021 - Completely dominated by toasted wood right now. And tannin. Not enough fruit or olive, bacon etc to balance it out. Even waiting til day 3 didn't help.
