Community Tasting Notes 5

November 25, 2020 - Grippy tannins, high acidity, lots of fruit. Strawberry, cherries. Still very young

March 28, 2018 - Super ripe, dense and heavy. Very modern in style. Agree with the monolithic comment below.

January 19, 2018 - If I'd tasted this blind I would have said a Juan Gil wine, so in that sense it is right up my ally. Loads of fruit all the way through and a hint of sweetness that you'd more associate with a Primitivo. Lovely stuff!!
Probably can do with a couple of years to settle down.
Bought it on the back of being attributed 94 pts from both Parker & Penin by retailer.

September 23, 2017 - From a half bottle that was aired one hour. Ripe, a bit jammy dark fruit on the nose. Full bodied, smooth, very fruit driven, delivering loads of ripe dark plummy and cherry fruit with decent tannic bite and little heat on the finish. Somehow a bit monolithic at this juvenile stage but yet very delicious. Can hold for at least a decade.

April 24, 2017 - 31 Salón de Gourmets (IFEMA - Madrid): Because its youth this is very alcoholic wine in the mouth but always elegant and complex. In this particular occasion it was interesting on the nose cause those liquorice aromas and dark fruits. According with this TN my 2010 has to rest for a while yet.

Muy alcohólico por su juventud en boca pero siempre elegante y con complejidad. En esta ocasión interesante en nariz por sus aromas a regaliz y frutos negros. A mí 2010 todavía le falta tiempo para redondearse.
