November 27, 2017 - Chirong's Annual Pilgrimage (Cellar Door): (grenache, mataro co-fermented on alicante bouchet skins) Raspberries, peppery, confection, soft supple tannin. Sweet plum, mid-mild body, savoury, yummy and easy.
November 10, 2017 - Festival of Alex - Rockford Stonewaller Tasting: Raspberry and redcurrant, roses - reasonably bright and fresh nose. Pretty high in acidity with good grip. Simple but has some appeal.
April 29, 2017 - The interesting thing on this is the addition of alicante bouschet skin to the grenache/mataro blend
We end up with a light-bodied earthy style with moderate tannins and acidity
