Community Tasting Notes 1

February 24, 2000 - A deep garnet red with more than a hint of youth. Fair nose, with some fruit, though it's a bit subdued and reticent: there's some nice cherry fruit in there and leather and hay. Nice attack. Rather youthful and a bit rough round the edges. Quite filling and warming on the palate, with a rich fruitiness. Fairly soft tannins develop after. Not at all bad at the price. Very Good.
