December 15, 2023 - Rich and refined on the nose. Ripe black plums and blackberry. Fine spices, leather and tobacco. Full bodied and structured with lovely freshness. Finishes long. Drink now or hold. Great value.
WSET Notes:
Deep ruby.
Pronounced on the nose with blackberry, black plum, cedar, dark chocolate, cinnamon, leather and tobacco. Developing.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. Full body, high alcohol, high tannins, medium plus acidity, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for ageing. -

June 23, 2023 - Very enjoyable. The Cab Franc seems quite pronounced. Very good QPR.

March 16, 2023 - Decanted and drank over three days. Medium body, rustic dark fruit on the nose, plenty of fruit on the palate along with a mineral edge. Lively tannin, but works okay for now with food. Nothing extra or special that would raise the score, but certainly nothing wrong with the experience - it is pleasant, a very nice daily drinker. Good QPR, particularly relative to other wines in its class that I've tried (Siaurac, d'Aiguilhe...).

July 11, 2022 - Served slightly chilled with moussaka as it was a hot day. Didn’t decant. Dark fruits on the nose. The palate was Cabernet Sauvignon dominant with graphite and earthy tones. Rich dark fruits, chocolate. Tannin was not overwhelming. Mmm quite nice. Good qpr.

February 12, 2022 - The nose has Wonderful rich dark Cherry note. High tannins and minerals with dark current and black cherries. Love this. I can’t wait to try in a few days
