February 9, 2024 - A heavier version from this chateau(2016). Needs two more years to add more weight. Not quite up to the pairing with spiced pork tenderloin. I would like to revisit this pairiing in three years. 60% Sauvignon Blanc & 40% Semillon. Drink 2026 to 2030.

April 16, 2021 - So....first of three chosen wines for the
*Birthday weekend*
On nose: prominent oak, deceptive sweet tones of vanilla, seville orange, fresh butter and toasted brioche.
On palate: ALL above flavours enhanced...as well as intense citrus oil, tarragon , clean ( but not sharp) acidity, stony minerals ...all displayed on a very young, full body, rich on finish , but elegantly bone dry.
Still, at 5 years , very young, but loosening up....one to cellar for a few more years.....one of my favourite properties, in addition to Domaine de Chevalier, and Ch.Carbonnieux....all very different
THIS wine( after a two hour decant) calls for Sea Bass, Smoked Cod , or roast Chicken. -

September 21, 2019 - Bright yellow citrus, vanilla, flowers and lemon rind merge into a juicy, lush, round, sweet, jolt of orange, vanilla and yellow citrus on the palate. This is forward and already fun to drink.
