October 22, 2023 - Black sour cherry Jolly Rancher soy sauce grilled meat white pepper with hints of tertiary tar/iodine and pronounced anise mineral bitterness on the long finish. Medium body. Became more balanced and gained body after 2-3 hours of air. Paired very poorly with oily grilled salmon but very well with grilled meats and surprisingly well with ceviche. Picked this up directly from the winery recently and stored carefully. Cork in perfect condition. Dark ruby/garnet color with no brown hues visible. Not as good as my recollection of the 2017 I enjoyed several months ago. Very expressive, loud personality. The sour and bitter flavors became more enjoyable once I found the right pairing and the personality grew on me. No indication it is past peak.

November 5, 2022 - My last 2 bottles of the vintage. Both well-cellared, and prior bottle (last year) was still tasting good and on upslope. I expected another year or 2.
These two were done; first one a bit brown and slight VOC, 2nd was just awful. I missed the window. Opened a '15 next and it was perfect.
Drink em if you got em

November 25, 2021 - First bottle of Thanksgiving 2021 - perfect with random light appetizers of cheese, almonds, sardines, etc. Decanted 30min and drank in stemless reidel. Strong nose of cherry and a bit of strawberry (almost red twizzlers) upon opening, but that mellows after 60min or so. A bit of heat still, and tannins are still present: both of which are both surprising at this point. Finish still bright and acidic (which makes it refreshing) but a bit muted as other reviewers have mentioned. Not one of Bradley's best but still enjoyable.

May 3, 2020 - Full bodied, with subtle pepper notes. Needs decant or a few years.
