February 20, 2012 - This was good! Not normally a fan of French wines but this avoid the usual "terroir" taste with a nice medium body wine, crisp finish, very drinkable and good value.

February 23, 2011 - Tasty and ripe, smokey plums and fresh, smooth integreated mid-palate and short-medium length.

August 19, 2010 - Inky black fruits, smoke, leather and funk. Moderate acidity, luscious mid-palate of plums and balsamic, grainy tannins on the medium length finish.

September 6, 2009 - One of these days I will understand what it is aout French wine that has other reveiwers describe all the subtlety and nuances of the various regions, varietals and blends. I just find that I can do so much better for the price with something from Chile, Argentina, OZ or Italy. Although this had a very nice dark ruby colour and the nose was quite fruit forward and pleasant the flavours were average to below average and short lived. The grip on the mouth during the lengthy finish was almost puckering and very very dry, not enjoyable.

October 4, 2007 - Opaque ruby. Light but complex nose of camphor, licorice, smoke, herbs, olives. Low-moderate acidity, plush texture and mid-palate, thick and rich, bitter woody tannins, with a slightly warm, medium length finish. Really impressed, always great value.
