January 29, 2024 - Ruby in color, miniscus starting to tawny, acid is medium, alcohol medium+, bone dry, tannins high but well integrated, finish is long.
On the nose, crushed dried cherries, dehydrated plums, bramble, stone, French oak.
On the palate, cherries, plums, tobacco, cassis, leather, oak, and baking spice. A hint if licorice. -

January 1, 2024 - Well structured palette, although surprisingly mellow and timid. Oak dominant, with some slight baking spice and discernible plum action. Not overtly tannic.
Not notably powerful or unique but well suited for a lovely meal. -
