January 3, 2024 - Pleasant with Charcuterie but not pleasant to drink on its own...though it helped make a killer beef burgundy.

March 21, 2019 - Medium ruby, watery rim @13% abv. Medium aromas of cherry, underbush, dried leaves. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium-medium(+) sinewy tannins, medium alcohol and medium(-)-medium body. Palate of strawberry, raspberry/chery, sweet spice notes, chocolate dusting. Balanced, clean and sense of purity. Good length with integrated suave finish. Rather elegant yet straightforward. Focus is good, depth is much less so. Nonethless very enjoyable.

December 21, 2018 - Decanted for about 6 hours and poured back in the bottle. Tasted over the course of 3 hours along with other pinots and tasted blind. Clearly stood out as not California or new world. I liked it. Would buy more and age a few bottles. Definitely young and can see it developing in time. Group rated 2nd or 3rd of 6

July 22, 2018 - Clear, med to light ruby / clean, med- intensity - raspberry, cherry, spicy notes / dry, med acidity, med to light body, med intensity, med length. ripe fruit, not a bad pinot but lacks some verve and energy. Perhaps better is less warmer vintages.

February 2, 2018 - Chilled for 10 minutes outside. PnP and let sit for another 10 minutes. Color is purple fading to fuchsia at the edge. Somewhat closed. Swirling reveals raspberry, cranberry, violet aromas. On the palate raspberry, strawberry, brighter acidity, mild tannin. Drinking with dinner of pan-seared pork chops finished in the oven accompanied by braised greens, mushrooms and tomatoes. A touch of chili in the pork chops masks some of the subtleties of the wine. With the braised vegetables some earth comes forward and the fruit steps back to balance the wine more. Good. Youthful. Medium- body. Medium acidity. Light+ to medium- tannin. Mouth-watering finish. A bit linear. Would be interesting to try again in 6-12 months. 87-88.
