October 24, 2020 - Wonderful nose, great leather notes. Palate was not as refined, not very smooth. Maybe a little too much alcohol content.

September 3, 2020 - 100% estate fruit. This vineyard in Monterey is composed of sand, gravel and granite. The vines are 15-25 years old and are 90% Dijon and 10% Martini clone. Not decanted. Medium red color. This had a bright acidity. Notes of cranberries and cherries. Light to medium bodied. 89 points.

February 2, 2020 - Wonderful nose of moss, dark fruits, and mushroom. Very typical of the type of pinot I like. Taste is congruent—lots of dark cherry, black plum, and other dark fruit notes, with a hint of bitterness on the finish. High acid, medium complexity, medium plus finish. A well made wine, but it still can’t completely hide the fact that it’s 14.5%.
