March 23, 2024 - Better than our last bottle (from 2 years ago), this is aging nicely, with full dark fruits and savory, smoky charcoal notes. Little bit of ink and lead pencil as well. Surprising depth for such a humble wine, this will improve for a number of years. Excellent QPR.

January 6, 2024 - Really drinking well now. Still a lot of life left. Looking forward to next year.

December 30, 2023 - Nase: intensives, komplexes Bouquet, leicht fruchtig, etwas Rauch, Leder

May 5, 2023 - After cellaring for five years decided to pop one for science. Lovely dark color. Tart and thin out of the bottle, this needed an hour of air to open. Killer nose of cassis, dried fig, parchment, leather, cedar. Medium bodied, savory and dry. Classic Rimmerman offering and a crazy deal at $10. Drink now with decant or hold a few more years.
