    September 18, 2006 - Rusty brown, and clear at the edges. The main impression is of a bright, fine fruity acidity. In that respect it reminds me of a good village Burgundy. Secondary fruit characteristics. Medium bodied. If it was ever tannic there is no sign of it now. It's a very agreeable, well made wine. I suspect it's at or past its peak - no idea of the provenance of my bottles by the way. g+
