Community Tasting Notes 2

December 13, 2018 - I looked back at my tasting note from Nov. 4 and laughed. I don't know if I had a different wine that time, had too many drinks, or if six weeks extra practice makes that much difference, but none of what I said for that bottle applied this time.

This wine was medium ruby with aromas of brown sugar and rich black cherry. It was a refreshing and pretty smell.

The wine was bone dry and bold with medium tannins. On the palate were brown sugar and black fruit. After two fairly poor experiences with Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignons (a Los Clop and a Finca Martha), this was very nice. It was worth the $19 CAD I paid on sale but probably not the $30 CAD it goes for normally.

November 4, 2018 - The colour is dark purple shifting to clear at the edges. Medium body with aromas of cherry and cherry popsicle. The taste is fruity and oaky with hints of honey.
