December 5, 2023 - Not decanted showing very nicely but quite peppery and with some ashy notes (similar to Etna wines). Once aired more in the glass the typical Volnay came through with a lovely base of fruit. Stunning !

December 13, 2020 - Opened and decanted about an hour before serving by request. An initial funk and reduction blows off to show a wide array of florals. It’s vibrant, focused and expressive showing violets, red roses, ripe black and red fruit, a touch of game and pixelated minerals. However its a little thin on the midpalate and finishes a tad bit short.
