April 9, 2022 - Medium red ruby in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & currants with overtones of floral & spice notes of cloves & cinnamon, earthy, some loam notes, truffles, herbs, mineral notes & a hint of sous-bois in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & mulberries with spices, mushrooms, minerals, herbs & a slight touch of vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it has potential for further development with additional aging.
