March 15, 2023 - Drinks like a fairly straightforward, serviceable, if somewhat uninteresting southern Rhone. On the flip side, most Southern Rhones at this price are pretty rough. The anise is in check with red fruit and some gravelly soil. This is definitely not a wow wine but pleasant enough and qualitatively exceeds for the discounted price paid. MSRP may be another story.

October 19, 2021 - Drinking nicely. Purchased during the 'great Bonny Doon cellar sell-off', so much of this bottle's aging occurred at the winery. A great tasting red blend, with eucalyptus, beef bullion, burnt cherries and some herbal notes. Black raspberry aroma notes. Drinking very well at this time.
