August 1, 2023 - Bretty, bilgy, and tabac nose.
Softened and squishy blackcurrant.
A nice flick of oak through the finish where it finds focus and freshness.
Its aging quickly, a forward developing wine.

July 16, 2022 - This is a very good introduction to the left bank. There's a touch of bitterness through the finish, and a touch of bilgy barrels on the nose and perhaps some horse hair Brett 'terroir' for good measure too. But the level of fruit, classic ripe plum and vegetal (olive, mushrooms, nori) claret nose and savoury length make it a very satisfying and interesting drink. Couid do without the bitter herbaceous after-taste, but its a minor point. Very good, drink now with chicken dinner and a decant or hold 2-3.
