January 18, 2024 - Wow! The initial harsh tannins were reduced significantly. Black pepper, meat and plums. Yummy!

December 16, 2023 - Sorry for the reviewers who don’t like their experience
This wine delivers in spades… raspberry blackberry
Cherry, white pepper , bacon notes, with balance and acidity and minerality and structure..
So much complexity you want to dive right back in for another sip
Wine creates a memorable experience which is my highest compliment!!

December 7, 2023 - 60 minute decant. Voluptous nose of violets, blackberries, black currant, black cherry, and fresh mint. Palate delivers a line of dark plum. iron, iodine, and salty notes. Crisp finish of long tannins, cherry, cranberry, acidity, and dusty earth.

September 17, 2023 - Dark ruby with purple highlights. Took a day to open up. Toasted walnut, smoked meat, tart blackberry and plenty of earth. Rich and wearing a thick coat of fruit, the savory elements are currently buried. The tannins are salty and ripe, and this wants a bit more time - at least another 4-5 years if not 10. More to come. 93+

July 8, 2023 - I had high hopes on this one and wanted it to be great. One glas right out of the bottle which had a good nose with dark berries, raspberries, leather and blood. In the mouth I got really disappointed, quite short and watery, I found some strawberries but other than that it was not much there. Went back and had a second smell on the cork but it was still fine. I had two glasses the next day with six hours apart, the wine improved in the mouth with blueberries and blackberries and meat. I evaluated the score 3-4 times and think that it might be on the higher end. I have waited 5 years from purchase without getting rewarded, it might be in "the tunnel" but I can't see the wine reaching 90 points.
