August 25, 2018 - Opened and tasted then consumed 5 hours later without decanting. Nose was fairly closed still, just giving light hints of vanilla toast, boysenberry and cherry. the palate was showing more more, well built tannin that is clearly running the show but are nice and fine. had notes of boysenberry, truffle, toast and some simple mushrooms. long finish which shows a great future, hold next bottle for 3-5 more years. Lovely
