April 29, 2020 - Excellent. Has more time in it, feel free to cellar for 5-10 more years to be honest. The wine still has vibrant fruit and a great tannic structure. The drinking window on this site says it peaked in 2015, but this is absolutely not the case. We enjoyed it tremendously but regretted opening it when we did! If I had another bottle, which I don't, I'd shoot to open in 2028. What a tremendous job by these winemakers!

February 1, 2019 - Dark cherry, plums and hint of dark chocolate. Dense, powerful and full bodied.

December 17, 2017 - Unbelievably young tasting, full bodied, almost creamy, high alcohol, dusty garrigue, undercurrent of jammy berry fruit; preserved by the high alcohol me thinks. Thought it was a big ripe CdP. Blind at Monica's.

July 1, 2016 - May be just about at peak -- firm, supple, well-balanced. Glad I held on this for a while.

January 22, 2016 - Inky, dark red color. Nose of barnyard/decaying straw, raw meat, leather, and dark fruit. On the palate, flavors of dark fruit, cocao, graphite, and tobacco. Full-bodied, firm tannins, and plenty of acidity. While fruit-forward, lots of complexity and structure to keep it from going too fruit-bomb. Drinking well right out of the bottle.
