July 11, 2022 - White fruit (slight peach, lemon - nice citrus), nice salinity, nice floral, good acidity. Really bright. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

December 17, 2020 - This is lovely, mid-weight white burgundy without a lot of depth or complexity. That said, it is remarkably pure and drinkable. Like the knowledgeable person in the room who is quiet. All about fruit and flowers - no structure or oak influence perceivable. Versatile and delightful. (90)

December 3, 2020 - Same bottle. This wine needs to open up so my first note while accurate at the time is misleading. Since I used a Coravin that obviously prevents the wine from breathing. But even with a Coravin some air will inevitably deep in and that’s all to the good. Though the wine doesn’t reach the heights that Keith thinks it’s very pretty and classic WB in its profile.

November 20, 2020 - From a Coravined glass. Very high acidity and ripe but tart and one dimensional tropical fruit. This may be my last attempt at finding value in French Chardonnay. For the same money and probably less, you can find a GREAT Kabinett that will blow away anything below a top 1er Cru WB that will set you back $85 minimum and probably much more. Perhaps this is just an off bottle, but I doubt it. Assuming that Keith Levenberg whose taste I trust isn’t egregiously wrong on this one it could be a bottle variation thing. Or it could be that my palate has changed. But it could also be that “climate change” and lack of phenolic ripeness has killed Chardonnay in Burgundy.

April 30, 2020 - Very approachable and open. Matchsticks full bodied fruit a little ripe and robust. Finish is light and short. For the dollar it’s drinking at a good value. A good wine to pop open anytime.
