March 3, 2019 - I had a L&W merlot several years ago and immediately crossed it off my list. By chance, I tasted this 2016 at Parksville Uncorked the other weekend and it blew me away. I found it in Victoria and brought one home. It's a huge nose of cherries, leather and oak. Still mildly tannic on day two. Really fun for a $25 bottle. I'm going to get some and hold it for five years. I think it'll be better down the road.

June 24, 2017 - Very "fun" merlot, super light and effervescent.
