  March 18, 2019 - Vanilla, cassis, menthol, cherry on the nose. Black cherry, ripe bell pepper, vanilla, cedar on the palate. Very smooth and structured with balanced tannins. Will hold a bit but with limited upside.

  March 2, 2019 - 2015 Alexander School Reserve Alexander Valley Vineyard:
  03/02/19 Red Blind tasting:
  C = Plum, very pretty, long legs
  N = Lead pencil, tingliness & prickliness on the nose - very unusual, mocha, smoke
  P = Huge fruit bomb, tobacco, wet leaves, dry but has dark fruit, well balanced, lead pencil & graphite follow through on palate – Yum!
  N2 = brown sugar cinnamon poptart, when cold it smells like a Bordeaux - lead pencil, dark fruit, jammy, lots of residual sugar, almost pruney
  P2 = dark fruits, tobacco, leather
  Guess = New World California Cab
  N 3 = Oak, Coconut, Vanilla
  P 3 = Sour Cherry mash, red fruits, wet leaves, tobacco
  Day 2:
  N = Loads of Blueberry, Blueberry Cobbler, Oak & vanilla, smokey – like a campfire
  P = Loads of Blueberry follows through from nose as does Oak & vanilla, along with some spice, some heat
  O = 89 – 90
  N & P 2 = graphite pencil shavings w/lots of blueberries, well-integrated and well-balanced wine
  Will buy more.
