April 6, 2022 - Pop and pour. In the glass, medium pinkish-red at the rim, shading to dark moderately opaque red at the core. On the nose, a combination of cherries and not-quite-ripe strawberries. On the palate, a lean attack but not austere, with cherries, raspberries, plums, and secondary notes of baking spices, and a texture that expands and becomes lush and mouth-filling on a long finish. I'm not sure the tannins are there to support long-term aging, but I hope I'm wrong about that, since this is the kind of wine I might call beguiling with a few more years. Even if I'm not wrong, it's a quite nice wine right now.

December 9, 2021 - Delicious ripe dark cherry and spice aromas and flavors with refreshing acidity and tannins on the long finish. Drinking beautifully!

December 5, 2021 - Terrific! Wow! This was a beautiful wine. Lots of pinot flavor of dark red fruits (dark cherry, black raspberry) and spices that evolved in the glass and the bottle. It held up for three nights before the second pour. Nearly perfect in every detail.
