August 20, 2023 - This is a solid wine that shows some depth and character. Drinking well here with 9 years of age. Garagiste with a Great QPR

March 17, 2023 - Hard to believe how much this wine has matured in just a year. While still showing acidity, the fruit is a little backward. Mature purple fruit comes first with some forest floor but then redder fruit and acidity shows up at the end. It’s a bit of a twang.

This wine definitely benefits from food.

December 18, 2022 - Love the style and the longer term potential. Plenty of black fruit, structure, and evolving complexity; needs another 1-3 years to come together. Lots of upside. Decant short term with hearty food or hold. Drink through 2035.

October 2, 2022 - I decanted for 2 1/2 hours, and it needed it. Still very tight after a 1 hour taste.
I’m not a big fan of much Cabernet Franc, but this works reasonably well to add some depth and finish. Probably try another bottle in another year.

April 28, 2022 - Definitely needs decanting. Fruit here is pushed to red/purple and aciditity is fairly high. The nose is excellent with lots going on, but the body is fairly linear and front-loaded boyensberry fruit and then tannins with some crushed rock coming early as well. It’s a strange sensation that relaxes and opens with some airtime. I’d give it 30 min at least.
