August 8, 2023 - Initially thought to Pop and pour, but this was a tannic beast when first opened. 1 hour decant. 60 F or so. Still a rich ruby color. Very aromatic pleasant nose of black fruits, mocha, earth and anise. Medium-bodied wine, low acidity, velvety tannins with a prolonged grip. Black fruits on the palate, with tobacco and sweet herbs. Lingering sweet finish. Drink soon.

December 31, 2019 - Classic Bordeaux blend. Currants, plums, bitter chocolate, earthy tobacco, and sweet peppers. Lovely finish that lasts for days. Drink over the next couple years. Wonderful.

June 28, 2018 - Aged 22 months in 1/3rd new french oak.
Deep red color. Strong aromas of mushrooms, earth and red raspberry. Dry with high tannins. Fair balance with good acid. Flavors of cassis, oak and red cherry. Nice.
