March 11, 2014 - A very nice bottle of Burgundy, though without the depth I expect (vintage showing here). Earthy red fruit and elegant tannins, and best of all no green notes. Very enjoyable.

November 6, 2013 - Opened with the attendat trepidation that surrounds 2004, but very pleasantly surprised. The dominant theme of the wine was red fruit and cinnamon, with little of the green herbs but lots of tannin. Still excruciatingly young, but promising.

I thought it would be the perfect food wine, with very little acidity and spice and with excellent balance. In other words, it wouldn't get in the way of the food but compliment it. I tried to buy two bottles, but they did not have any to sell right yet.
