  November 18, 2008 - Great as a hearty red table wine. Bordeaux (mostly) styled blend of 46% Syrah, 20% Zinfandel, 15% Cab Sauvignon, 12% Sangiovese, and 7% Merlot. The Syrah really dominates this blending. Lots of nose! A bit hot up front, but then smoothes out nicely. Dark red fruit flavors. Full-bodied but not really complex. Easy drinking. Nice price point. Purchased at the vineyard during the 2007 El Dorado Passport weekend. Was among my favorite blends that weekend, and continues hold up well a year-and-a-half later.

  September 6, 2008 - This was good with a few years of bottle age. Mostly syrah came out.

  January 7, 2007 - Very Interesting wine. Deep purple color. Strong, but not unpleasant musty aroma (think moss covered stone walls). Flavor is complex and difficult to define, but smooth and not at all bad. I would buy again.
