March 15, 2022 - This bottle was a leftover, well beyond its latest recommended "drink by" date. It was a pleasant surprise. Still a deep red, with no hint of oxidation and good legs. Round and smooth on the palate, with softened tannins, then fades into a short finish. Tannins have softened. Nose unbalanced, has lost notes of fruit and leans toward leather. Neither unpleasant nor off putting, just not noteworthy. Complemented rich red pasta sauce.

January 9, 2012 - Classic dill pickle taste for this Fidelitas Malbec. Still holding its nose and flavor.

April 13, 2010 - Good fruit and well blendedd flavors. However, low acid and little tannins left me wishing for more structure. Went well with red sauce and pasta.

March 16, 2010 - Surprisingly strong fruit though certainly not overpowering. Stone or chalk on the nose as well. Strong acids balance a soft and sensual mouth feel very well. Nice finish which lingers. Perfect for a big steak. This is what single varietal malbec should be. Aging has helped. PDQ93
