December 31, 2023 - First experience with this producer (gift from a C-T collector friend). Was concerned that 2011 might be getting a little old but very pleasantly surprised with this wine! NOSE: Vibrant mineral nose, lemon oil, lemon peel, salinity, fresh white flowers and a touch of fresh green herbs. PALATE: vibrant, well assembled bubbles, crisp, salty & chalky on entry, medium weight mid-palate with a hint of lemon custard, generous finish given minerality. Wishing I had another bottle to try in say another 5-7 years (or longer!). 2011 vintage, disgorged 2017 dosage 5g/L. C-T is a "Selosse understudy" and it really shows.

January 8, 2022 - This smells like mcdonald's french fries. It's uncanny. Palate is nice, really well balanced. Goes down easy, but doesnt have that depth or intensity to grab your attention. The balance makes me feel like this could age a while longer.

August 5, 2020 - 2011 Grapes, disg Mar 2017, 5 g/L dosage. The bubbles are strong to begin, so if I were to do this again, I wpuld either give this a few years or a decant...or jusy let it sit for a while. Notes from 4 hrs open. On the nose: pure chalk, followed by lemon oil...slathered in minerality. With vigorous swirling, a touch of sawdust. On the palate, fantastic acidity paired with excellent depth: lemon oil, a suggestion of custard, good salinity and soft mousse lifts these flavors. A very nice, complex style.
