September 16, 2022 - Opened 3 hours aheadClassic left bank Bordeaux. Beautiful nose of graphite, tobacco, cedar and dark fruits. Creamy texture with pure ripe dark fruits, earth and minerals. Drinking at peak. 95points.

August 28, 2022 - At my age time to start opening these, medium colour in glass nice graduated rim, nose of black fruits took awhile to come out but aromatic when it did, medium bodied again black fruits and little else, good balance but this is not a complicated wine for those who like to delve, decent drink but to me an average Lynch Bages if there is such a thing, given a couple of hours decant which briought the aromas out but changed little on the palate.

August 18, 2022 - Opened and decanted for a few hours. Black plum and cassis with harmonious structure in the near background. Very balanced and very good length. Best I can ever recall from this wine, that seems to have finally reached its happy place.

August 6, 2022 - Much better this time. Decanted for 30 mins. All of the classic Bordeaux notes had come together beautifully.

June 18, 2022 - I thought this wine would be in a little better place by now. It was decanted for two hours before dinner. The last glass was consumed about two hours later......for a total of about four hours. The last glass was not any better. The wine was not bad. It was OK, but just not what I expected. It has been well stored, so I doubt it status is my fault. I wish I could figure this one out.
