  October 2, 2006 - Wines of Portugal: Leeds Trade Tasting (Park Plaza Hotel, Leeds): A lightish raspberry red appearance. There are fresh red fruits on the nose, followed up by a good light palate. Fresh and clean. Very Good.

  September 25, 2006 - P.I.G. Tasting 2006 (Northcote Manor): A fairly classic Alentejan blend, including tempranillo and trincadeira. This is much more complex on the nose than the same producer's 2004 Montinho, with good raspberry and blackberry fruit. Good body, again with lots of tannin. Needs time.

  September 25, 2006 - P.I.G. Tasting 2006 (Northcote Manor): A blend of tempranillo, trincadeira and cabernet sauvignon. Not a bad nose, though it feels a bit confected with sweet raspberry fruit. Rather simple on the palate, with lots of tannin. Seems less successful than the other Portuguese reds today.
