Community Tasting Notes 25

  • lars1014 Likes this wine:

July 3, 2020 - Aromas of ripe citrus. Intense flavors of tangerine with the typical PM lees-y texture. Still holding up well.

February 25, 2016 - Past prime but evolving in an interesting way with deep color, some almond, butterscotch note and still some citrus... Was lovely with lobster

March 17, 2013 - Lovely aged chardonnay with butterscotch, caramel and fabulous mouthfeel and a strong finish. Still plenty of life

June 3, 2011 - Past its prime, but still delicious

May 24, 2011 - back end, schmack end. this wine is singing tonight. alas, our last bottle, and only one more PM 02 in the cellar. as i inferred, firing on all cylinders. lavender, mild cedar (wow), nice honey component, orange marmalade, great depth of fruit combined with a spice riddled back end. fabulous. i printed out all my notes for PM 02 chards. a really fun exercise. drink, but if you are lucky enough to encounter a bottle in this good of shape, you could maybe milk it for another 2 years.
