  January 21, 2024 - Nice - composed and quite straight forward chardonnay. Very citrusy with a grape bite in the end, full bodied and round, very subtle oak. Maybe missing a bit energy and/or further complexity to really move me, at least at this stage.

  December 10, 2022 - Super impressive and a leap above my tasting two years ago as this is drinking perfectly now at temp just above cellar temps. Very distinctive aroma of lemon-lime, white flower, vanilla and cream, with refreshing high acid attack well balanced by depth of fruit and length. Lovely and delicious and very serious at the same time. Distinctively new world from cold climate with ample sunshine. Wish I had more

  January 5, 2022 - Three Felton Roads in Whanganui, NZ (New Year 2022): From then 24 year old Mendoza vines, made in neutral, older oak. Under screwcap. Pale gold and light green. A bouquet of limes, green apples, wet granite, pears, white peaches, spices, white florals and vanilla pod. On palate, very dry and mineral, with some salinity. The product of a warmer vintage, which shows in the dense mouth and mid palate weight. Limes, blanched almonds, vanilla and lemon curd with a light touch of spicy oak. Crisp vibrant acidity matches, and integrates with, the rich and creamy fruit. Perhaps to drink by 2028+. An excellent unfussed with, refined Chardonnay.
